“Wallahi, brother, no one can stop you from think about anything. Good, bad, no one can…” said Abdullah to me when he was describing, explaining to me a verse in Quran (2:284). In the respective ayaah, Allah said that for what ever we think, bad or good, whether we do it or not according to the thinking we have, it will be accounted. Somehow, that applies only during the time of our prophet Muhammad SAW. He was telling me about aayah Nasakh and aayah Mansukh.
And the statement he made is very true.
It can’t be helped to have different thoughts on different matters that we experienced. What matters now is, what do we do when these thought infiltrate our minds? Would we be the one who express it in our words, actions, no matter its good or bad? or would we be the one who put aside all the irrational reasons and do our best to purify, to clarify why does it have to happen so?
Different minds think differently (though a proverb says great minds think the same) and the person himself have to choose how to react with it. Pity those who made the decision to humiliate themselves, those who react in a shameful manner. Great news to those who react with good manners, as Allah have promised for these people a place that they will feel peace in it for eternity.
Remember, its our decision to react to what comes into our minds. Learn to make a decision, so that we will sail through this life in the right guidance.
