There are many things that I believe I’m supposed to do. Example?
- Wake up early in the morning
- Not to sleep after Subh prayer
- Istiqamah in reciting Ma’thurat zikr every morning and evening
- ody toning and kardio exercise every morning
- Early morning revision
That’s how the list goes on so far. Yet, something plays in my mind, according to the title of this post I believe, my dear reader(s), you know what is it.
Why am I doing this?
I believe that I am suppose to do this. Yet, sometimes I felt like I’m a master of disguise. I seek for attention of others, to reckon me as a good boy, good person.
Some people said that it is best to do things that you want and love to do. Others, in disagreement, said the interest will come later, as the most important thing is to do something that will benefit you. Another one view, where I found it to be so neutral and true, no matter what you are doing you must know what and why are you doing it. Then, why am I doing all these things?
- Studying Chemical Engineering
- Went to Australia instead of continuing my study in Malaysie
- Walk on this path that not so many people chose to
Importance of Intention
On the authority of Omar bin Al-Khattab, who said : I heared the messenger of Allah salla Allah u alihi wa sallam say :
“Actions are but by intention and every man shall have but that which he intended. Thus he whose migration was for Allah and His messenger, his migration was for Allah and His messenger, and he whose migration was to achieve some worldly benefit or to take some woman in marriage, his migration was for that for which he migrated.”
related by Bukhari and Muslim
Then, its back to what we intent to do. If it is for a good thing, it is good to do it. Otherwise, don’t. That sometimes that make presence in my heart is just a symptom of a heart desease, I believe. How should I cope up with it? Well, purify your heart and do things without hesitation, with a good intention. Peace~~~
But, (why is there a but?!) some asked
“What if they have a good intention but, they make a foul action? Take Robin Hood as example…”
Well, that is another story. 😀
